  • Be Lawful and Respectful: Don't use our services for illegal activities, spam, harassment, or sharing malicious or hateful content. We're building a respectful community.

  • You Own Your Content: You retain all rights to the content you create and store on our services. We claim no ownership over your intellectual property.

  • We Own Our Service: We own the Syvarin brand, our code, and all related intellectual property. Please respect it.
    •                        
  • Account Termination: You can delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms to protect the health and safety of the community.

1. Introduction & Agreement to Terms

                       

Welcome to Syvarin. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and Syvarin ("we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of our websites, software, and services (collectively, the "Services").

                       

By creating a Syvarin ID or using any of our Services, you agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with all of these terms, then you are expressly prohibited from using the Services and you must discontinue use immediately.

                   
                   
                       

2. Your Syvarin ID & Account Security

                       

To access most Services, you must create a Syvarin ID. You agree to keep your password confidential and will be responsible for all use of your account and password. We reserve the right to remove, reclaim, or change a username you select if we determine, in our sole discretion, that such username is inappropriate, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

                       

You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for any activities or actions under your account. We encourage you to use a "strong" password (a password that uses a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols) with your account.

                   
                                        
                       

3. Acceptable Use Policy

                       
                           

You agree not to misuse the Syvarin Services or help anyone else to do so. You must not, and must not attempt to, do any of the following in connection with the Services:

                           
                               
                                       
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network.

  • Breach or otherwise circumvent any security or authentication measures.
    •                                    
  • Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas or parts of the Services, or shared areas of the Services you haven't been invited to.

  • Interfere with or disrupt any user, host, or network, for example by sending a virus, overloading, flooding, spamming, or mail-bombing any part of the Services.

  • Send unsolicited communications, promotions or advertisements, or spam.
    •                                    
  • Distribute malware, ransomware, or any other malicious software.
    •                                    
  • Engage in any activity that is illegal under applicable law, fraudulent, or violates the rights of others, including sharing content that is obscene, defamatory, or promotes hate or violence.

  • Impersonate or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

4. Your Content & Intellectual Property

                       

When you use our Services, you provide us with things like your files, content, messages, etc. ("Your Content"). Your Content is yours. These Terms don’t give us any rights to Your Content except for the limited rights that enable us to offer the Services. For example, we need to host Your Content, back it up, and share it when you ask us to. Our Services also provide you with features like sorting, editing, and sharing. 5. Our Intellectual Property

                       

The Services are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of various jurisdictions. Except as expressly provided in these Terms, we (or our licensors) exclusively own all right, title, and interest in and to the Services, including all associated intellectual property rights. You may not remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, service mark, or other proprietary rights notices incorporated in or accompanying the Services.

                   
                   
                       

6. Termination of Services

                       

You’re free to stop using our Services at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the services with notice to you if you are in material breach of these Terms. For the most serious violations (such as sharing illegal content or attacking our systems), termination may be immediate and without prior notice. Upon termination, we will make reasonable efforts to provide you with an opportunity to export Your Content.

                   
                   
                       

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

                       

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SYVARIN MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ABOUT THE SERVICES. SYVARIN WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF USE, DATA, BUSINESS, OR PROFITS, REGARDLESS OF LEGAL THEORY.

                       

This section is a standard legal clause intended to limit our liability. It does not absolve us of our responsibility to provide a secure and reliable service, but it protects us from unforeseen damages arising from your use of the service. (This is a template policy for demonstration. 8. Changes to These Terms

                       

We may revise these Terms from time to time to better reflect changes to the law, new regulatory requirements, or improvements or enhancements made to our Services. If an update affects your use of the Services or your legal rights as a user of our Services, we’ll notify you prior to the update's effective date by sending an email to the email address associated with your account or via an in-product notification. These updated terms will be effective no less than 30 days from when we notify you.
